Leigh has been looking after teeth since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2008. He started out in Kempsey, then built TL Dental with his wife, Dr Teresa Li. These days, he still spends much of his time doing the part of the job he loves most: sitting down with patients and working out how to help.

Leigh leads implant dentistry at TL. He’s completed training with MIS, the AIA Fellowship and the Brenner Institute Implant Program, and has a particular interest in the careful planning that implant and restorative treatment can involve.

And if the word implant has brought a list of questions with it, you’re in good company. Leigh will take the time to talk through what’s going on, what your options may be and what each step involves. No hard sell, no mystery tour of dental jargon. Just an honest conversation so you can make sense of the choices in front of you.

Leigh speaks both Mandarin and English, and knows that being able to talk comfortably can make a real difference at the dentist.

Away from TL, he’s usually happiest outdoors—playing tennis or basketball, fishing, or snowboarding. But ask him his favourite role and he’ll keep it simple: family man.
